Welcome to the Aqua Hair Design team page! Our salon was founded in 1999 by Patrizia Cucinella and Julie Quarmby, two friends with a passion for hair and a 30-year friendship. Together, they have built a successful business partnership spanning 17 years.

Our team is made up of a lovely bunch of girls who are dedicated to providing the best hair styling experience for our clients. We have our team members who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our salon. We pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming atmosphere and strive to make every visit to our salon a memorable one.

We are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques and our team members regularly attend training and education programs to ensure we are providing the best services possible.

Patrizia Cucenella

Meet Patrizia Cucenella, the owner of Aqua Hair Design. With over 23 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Patrizia brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the salon. She began her career in 1980 in Cardiff, and has also worked abroad in Germany and Italy, where she is originally from. In 1999, Patrizia opened Aqua Hair Design alongside business partner Julie Quarmby, and together they have grown the business into the successful salon it is today.

Iv been hairdressing since i left school but left it alone for a while then picked it back up in my later age. I went back to college & completed my training. I am a mother of three beautiful babies, I;ve been working with aqua hair design for nearly 2 years now! I can honestly say its more like a home were not just a team we are a family. I love to come to work, i love all elements of hairdressing and the relationship i have built with my clients. Its a fun welcoming and warm place to be and when you love what you do. Every day becomes an adventure

Julie Quarmby

Julie Quarmby is also an owner of Aqua Hair Design. With a background deeply rooted in the hairdressing industry, Julie has over 30 years of experience, and has managed salons in both Oxford and London before setting up Aqua with Trish in 1999. She is passionate about the salon and the industry, and finds that every day is a new adventure. Together, Patrizia and Julie bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Aqua Hair Design, making it the go-to salon for all your hair needs in Cardiff.

Part Time Stylist

Stephanie Cosslett

I am the salon's part time stylist, I have been hairdressing since 2002 straight after leaving school. began my career with Vidal Sassoon where completed my training. In 2007 began working at Saks as a senior stylist and then progressed to principal stylist. In 2012 joined Ocean Hairdressing, and worked there for 3 years before becoming a mum. After returning to work i decided that it was the right time for a new adventure.
That's when I joined Aqua - August 2015. I can finally say I feel like I'm at home, - we're not a team we are a family and I can honestly say i love coming to work. I enjoy all areas of hairdressing and love the relationships have built with my clients. Steph is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Cery is the owner of skin deep beauty and has been working at Aqua Salon for over 20 years. Cerys started here as a young 22 year old. She loves all aspects

Of here job, from nails to massage & everything inbetween. Cerys has a varied age clientelle, & loves listening to their life stories. Cerys is a foster parent and an animal lover.
